Information about the declaration of compliance for food contact material

The Declaration of Compliance is a document that you must:

• provide to the customer (another food contact material operator or a food business operator) at all stages of trade;
• prepare again whenever there are changes in the raw materials, manufacturing process, or legislation concerning the food contact material, and in any case at least every three years.

With the Declaration of Compliance, you can:

• demonstrate to the customer the safety and other compliance of the food contact material;
• guide the customer in the correct use of the contact material.
